ACADEMY / THE EDUCATION ARM

Train the people who run it.

The manufacturing arm and the education arm are designed as one loop, not two mandates: the factory is designed to fund the school, and the school is designed to staff the factory. This page is the concept-stage home of that second arm / a curriculum concept and a set of partnership pathways, not a school, a program, or an enrolment.

NO INSTITUTION IS NAMED HERE UNLESS AN ACTUAL AGREEMENT IS DOCUMENTED · NO ACCREDITATION, CREDENTIAL, OR INTAKE DATE IS STATED

WHY NOW

Regulatory scope is widening faster than the workforce that operates inside it.

Transport Canada's RPAS framework under CARs Part IX has expanded toward beyond-visual-line-of-sight and medium-drone operations. That widens demand for certified pilots / and, more scarce, for the manufacturing and integration technicians who build and qualify the aircraft in the first place. This is a fact about the regulatory environment, not a claim about The Drone Factory's own registrations, programs, or standing with any regulator.

CURRICULUM CONCEPT

Three tracks, drafted against the platform's own systems.

01 /

MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN

Precision fabrication, quality and traceability practice, and shop-floor tooling / the F1-F5 foundation, taught as work.

02 /

INTEGRATION & AUTONOMY

Sensing, controls, and systems integration across air and ground platforms, from bench trial to work package.

03 /

FLIGHT OPERATIONS & REGULATORY

RPAS operating practice and the regulatory literacy that customer-defined work under CARs Part IX requires.

PARTNERSHIP MODELS

Offered to institutions, not announced on their behalf.

01 / APPLIED RESEARCH

A defined industrial question, scoped bench work, and a named problem owner / the shape a funded project takes.

02 / CO-OP PLACEMENT

Technologist and engineering placements on real work packages, under the same quality system as customer work.

03 / MICRO-CREDENTIAL CO-DEVELOPMENT

Curriculum built jointly with an institution's own faculty, against the tracks opposite / credentialed by them, not by us.

04 / DUAL-CREDIT PATHWAYS

A secondary-to-post-secondary bridge into the tracks opposite, run by the institution's own dual-credit program.
